Children...

are amazing!!  After 2 days of rain, a portion of our yard literally looked like a pond!  While I was freaking out about all of the water, the kids were also freaking out ~  "LOOK AT ALL OF THE WATER!!" :)



















At one point P said "Ma, we need to build a wooden boat!"

These pictures were taken on Friday.  By Sunday, our yard was dry and hubby mowed the grass :)  Thankfully our home sits high enough on a "hill" that it remained dry!  Phew...

Life is GOOD!!...

Ma & Pa Scarecrow...

The kids have sparked an interest in scarecrows, among other things!!  So, while at the library last week, we checked out a few books about scarecrows!!  Yesterday they had a blast making scarecrows in the front yard!



The book they took out to help them *create* their scarecrows :)

Girls 4 Life...

     Katie is a member of Girls 4 Life.  Yesterday they went to an abortion clinic for a silent prayer vigil.  The high school homeschooled kids (homeschoolers 4 life) were also there.  There weren't too many there when we first arrived, but it wasn't too long before more showed up! :)  Here are some pictures of our day yesterday!

Sarah and I enjoyed our morning view out of the front window.  I don't think you can tell, but the sweet one by the swing still had some white spots!  Very faint, but they were there :)
